In 1948, Nursery Water was developed in cooperation with health experts. Even today, a Board of medical and health experts, including Pediatricians, continue to monitor and evaluate its formulation and applications.
- Water is boiled and water vapor is condensed to produce pure water (distillation)
- The water is treated by ultraviolet light and ozonated to prevent the presence of harmful bacteria
- Minerals (potassium, magnesium and calcium) are added for taste
- Fluoride is added to Nursery Water to help create stronger teeth, both systemically under the gums and topically as teeth emerge.
- Provides consistent reassurance as a fluoridated water option
